Discipline: Identity, Exhibition, Graphic and Catalogue Design
6000 miles tells the story of the changing Scottish coastal landscape and speculates upon how our relationship with the edge of the nation might develop. Five architectural practices were invited to examine the changing nature of our relationship with the coast, each working under a theme. Through strategies and scenarios they made proposals for coastal ‘machines’, which aim to encapsulate this change. We were asked to design the Lighthouse’s summer exhibition, a collaboration with Block Architecture. We commissioned the film maker Emily Richardson and then produced all graphics and identity, including all promotional material and a catalogue.
