Execution Prints
During Britain’s Regency period the stretch of shore along the Thames at Wapping was used for the practice of hanging executed pirates and smugglers from gibbets as a warning to other criminals. We produce a logo, identity and photoshoot for Lazarides print studio situated here at Execution Dock. Execution Prints produces hand-finished screen prints, woodcuts and etchings from Lazarides Artists. We commissioned photographer Lee Mawdsley for the pictures.
