Handel Hendrix – Jimi Hendrix Exhibition

In the summer of 2026 we designed a scheme to refresh the Jimi Hendrix Exhibition at Handel Hendrix House. Working with existing material, photography and written assets we transformed the exhibition room, dressing room and record room into 3 cohesive spaces that are reflective of the time that Hendrix resided at Brook Street. Alongside re-planning the space to make it more versatile, we created an exhibition which is much warmer and fitting to the era, giving a relaxed sense of domesticity in Hendrix’s former home. Part of the new design expanded a dressing-up wardrobe area which has proved immensely popular with families, furniture for the gallery and 2 new showcases.
