National Railway Museum
Railway Firsts marks the 50th anniversary of the National Railway Museum, York. This consisted of a series of dynamic pop-up installations highlighting stories of innovations and breakthroughs on the railway. Stories included the first female train driver, the first railway tunnel and the first onboard toilet. Developed with Skellon Studio and built by Hadley Interiors, we created a set of tall, abstracted, signal like forms that were playful and celebratory. The displays acted as curiosity-provoking beacons amongst the trains.
