Spirit of Eden
Spirit of Eden is a boutique mini festival on the Kent/Sussex border in a unique site, set out around a lake and surrounded by fields. Inspired by the the Talk Talk album of the same name, often referred to as ‘unconstrained’, it was conceived as a retreat to lose yourself in music, nature and good company in a completely unrestrained, idyllic setting. The branding makes a nod to an English folklore aesthetic with the use of illustration. This together with the typography, aims to capture the essence of the festival, with a touch of imperfect strangeness. Photography is used in black and white throughout, with monochrome helping maintain an element of mystery.
