Adnams Visitor Centre

As a part of their brewery and distillery tours, Adnams new visitor centre occupies it’s own building behind the Swan Hotel, Southwold. The scheme re-organised their collection of historical artefacts into a coherent story around a timeline, made of printed birch panels illustrating the development of one of Europe’s least wasteful breweries.

We had a 3 metre internally lit Adnams sign made from folded stainless steel, custom sprayed creatures relating to some whimsical stories within the Southwold brewery’s rich history and a whole wall dedicated to a 5 metre brewing process diagram. This mixed illustration and text with real examples of botanicals used for making Gin, also the various hop varieties used in their extensive beer range. Designed in collaboration with Skellon Studio.
