Handel / Hendrix House

Handel Hendrix House is made up of two residences: George Frideric Handel’s house at 25 Brook Street and Jimi Hendrix’s flat at the top floor of 23 Brook Street. Having been commissioned to make an illustration of both musicians for the entrance at 25 Brook Street, we aimed to make an impactful drawing which allowed a level of transparency through the glass door. We show them aside each other, not quite engaging, but for a slightly bemused look on Handel’s face as he regards the more recent tenant.
