Royal Opera House Summer 23

We were commissioned by the Royal Opera House to create a summer floral scheme for a duration of three months. This was intended to act as an ‘attractor’ to potential visitors in Covent Garden Piazza by extending the historical flower market theme from the piazza into the building. Vintage botanical illustrations were partly re-drawn and clustered, to create bouquets that feature throughout the building and exterior. The addition of small animals, birds and insects that had a connection with operas and ballets were scattered as little surprises bringing the scheme to life. The installation extended from the main windows in Bow Street and Covent Garden Piazza, through the main foyer and Lindbury Theatre, up to the Mezzanine bar and rooftop terrace. Printed by Displayways.
