Royal Opera House Winter 23
We were commissioned by the Royal Opera House to create a 2023 Christmas scheme based around the idea of a ‘midnight forest’. The project entailed hand painting trees, animals, moon and stars onto canvas and then photographing these to produce artwork. The animals were loosely connected with various ballet and opera productions the Royal Opera House have put on and we secreted them around the building as little moments of surprise for visitors. The installation extended from the main windows in Bow Street and Covent Garden Piazza, through the main foyer and Lindbury Theatre, up to the Mezzanine bar and rooftop terrace.
