The HELIX Wembley

As part of a project for Naomi Cleaver and HOST Students we created the identity and all the interior and exterior signage for this idiosyncratic 19 storey building. Designed over a decade ago by architects CZWG, the refurbishment echos the building’s distinctive curves with a system of wall battens in natural timber offering gentle acoustics. The identity reflects the use of the materials and adds a contemporary clubhouse feel utilising patterns drawn from the logo to add texture.

As part of the scheme we designed a building wrap which covers the lower part of the scaffold structure. This was a complex artworking task as every single plane had a completely unique size and shape.
